About Zoey

Hello! My name is Zoey, and I am currently studying toward my Bachelor of Education in Intermediate Phase Teaching. I am passionate about helping others learn English in a way that feels comfortable, engaging, and rewarding. As a future teacher, I’ve developed strong communication skills and an understanding of how to support learners with different needs and backgrounds. I am patient, encouraging, and always focused on making sure my students feel confident and understood. I offer English lessons to both children and adults, and I adapt each lesson to suit the learner’s level and personal goals. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to improve your grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, or conversation skills—I’m here to help you grow step by step. My teaching style is structured but friendly, and I always aim to create a positive and relaxed learning environment. I am fluent in English. I look forward to helping you on your English learning journey!

About the lesson

As a private English tutor and current Bachelor of Education (Intermediate Phase) student, my approach is supportive, adaptable, and focused on each learner’s needs and goals. I believe learning should be both effective and enjoyable, so I use interactive methods that keep students engaged—whether we're working on grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, or conversation skills.

I am fluent in English and can also support Afrikaans-speaking students who may benefit from occasional explanations in their home language. My lessons are carefully structured but always flexible, with a warm, encouraging tone that helps students feel comfortable and confident.

In a typical lesson, students can expect a mix of speaking, listening, reading, and writing activities tailored to their level. I incorporate real-life scenarios, visuals, and age-appropriate materials to make learning relevant and meaningful.

I offer lessons to both children and adults, from beginner to intermediate levels. Whether you’re learning English for school, travel, work, or personal growth, I will meet you where you are and help you move forward at your own pace.
