About Talia
I am a psychology student at Carleton University. I was an honours student all throughout high school and am currently in university. I have taken a multitude of psychology related courses including subjects on: stress/coping/ wellbeing, general psychology, neuroscience, sociology, linguistics, families in Canada, etc.. I took all academic/university levels in high school. I have previously tutored elementary students in all different subjects.

My teaching style is hands on. I believe students should have a chance to work on exercises with the teacher. The typical session will begin with a lesson teaching students an essential skill needed in the desired academic English category. Afterwards students will complete a short exercise using the newly learned skill. Then I will go over the exercise with the student ensuring they efficiently understand the newly taught skill and helping them with any confusion they may have. I am also available to edit students work and go over it with them.
