About Charlotte

I’m a patient and understanding aspiring teacher with a strong background in English. Having achieved top grades at both GCSE and A-level, I’m now studying a teaching course at university, to become an English Teacher. I love helping children learn and grow, and I’m passionate about seeing them do their very best. Through my university placements in schools, I’ve gained hands-on experience working with children of different ages and abilities, learning how to support them in a fun, motivated way. I aim to make lessons personalised and enjoyable, while focusing on the areas where the most help is needed, so they feel confident achieving their goals!

About the lesson

The first session is always a FREE online consultation. This allows me to learn about your child’s exam board, texts, and subject areas, as well as their strengths and challenges. It’s also a great opportunity for your child to get to know me in a relaxed setting, so they feel comfortable and confident moving forward. Every lesson after that is fully personalised to your child’s individual needs. I design sessions around the exam board curriculum, while placing extra focus on any areas they find particularly challenging. Whether it’s essay writing, understanding key texts, exam technique, or building confidence in English skills, lessons are tailored to make sure your child progresses in a structured but supportive way. My goal is to make learning engaging, accessible, and effective, helping your child feel prepared, motivated, and ready to achieve their best.
