About Darlene
I have been in the literary world for many years. I'm a former publisher, current editor, tutor, ghost writer, and a lover of books.
I owned an published a magazine of short fiction stories that was both online and in print. I was lucky enough to find authors from all over the world to submit their stories and with a group of friends, we decided which stories would be published.
I've recently edited two non-fiction books and for a short time was a ghost writer for a blogger. I also tutor two children in reading and grammar.
My life has become enriched by my ability and desire to read books and I would like others to achieve that benefit.

I love reading - short stories, novels, non-fiction, and all genres. There is a great deal of knowledge out there in the world that lies between the covers of a book and I love to learn.
I also love to share. Primarily share a love of reading, simply because it will be very difficult for anyone to follow their passions unless they know how to read. Whether it's emails, textbooks, or even texts, everyone will need to have an understanding of the written word.
My approach is to tailor my tutoring to how you learn. I have a student that is dyslexic and with each lesson as we get to know each other better, I'm able to help him.
