About Epic

Hey there! I'm Epiga (she/her), a senior absolutely loving the challenge of AP English Honors. Literature and analyzing texts are my jam – I dig diving into complex stories and figuring out what makes them tick.

But I'm not just another student in the class. Sure, I'm doing well, but what excites me even more is sharing this love of literature with others. Having navigated the twists and turns of AP English myself, I totally get the challenges and the awesome rewards.

Forget memorizing for the sake of memorizing. That's not my style. I want you to genuinely appreciate literature and develop critical thinking skills that go way beyond the AP exam.

Ready to write your success story? With my personalized approach, interactive lessons, and genuine passion for the subject, I can be your guide to mastering AP English and beyond. Let's unlock your potential together!

About the lesson

Collaborative Discussions: We'll delve into the text together, analyzing literary devices, themes, and authorial intent through open-ended questions and lively discussions.
Close Reading Strategies: We'll master close reading techniques to extract the most meaning from complex texts. This includes identifying key passages, figurative language, and authorial choices.
Tailored Skill Development: Based on your needs, we'll focus on specific areas like crafting strong thesis statements, supporting arguments with textual evidence, and refining writing style.
Interactive Activities: We'll incorporate activities like graphic organizers, role-playing, and creative writing exercises to solidify understanding and make learning engaging.
