As I mentioned earlier, I have taught students of all ages and levels. Although the majority were based on ESL subjects like vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, and writing, I also taught variations of literature, essay writing, linguistics, and more! My teaching approach varies depending on my student's learning style. All in all, I believe in a Freirian teaching philosophy which describes the dynamic between teacher and student as an exchange rather than a one way deposit of knowledge.
I have been teaching and tutoring both groups and individuals for about 6 years now. I cannot count the number of students I have taught because there have been so many of all ages and a variety of subjects of English. My students have always been very happy with my lessons because they achieve their goals and good grades in the end. Finally, I believe my teaching style is special because I adapt to each of my student's unique learning styles very quickly.

I would like to recommend Amanda for ESL tutoring and teaching. I was her colleague at a private language school in Los Angeles (Torrance) for about 2 years from 2012-14 and we have stayed in touch since I left the school. Amanda is both diligent and enthusiastic, a really great combination in a teacher.
Amanda is a charming, well-prepared, enthusiastic teacher who really cares about her students and doing a good job.
