About Sophie
I am an ESL teacher with over 10 years of experience teaching in Europe, Asia, and Australia. I teach private lessons 1 on 1 or group, online tutoring, and at school. I have a lot of experience with young children and enjoy teaching ESL through various senses and activities. I have helped students with autism with after school support for many years. I also prepare students for their immigration English test requirements and have been 100% successful at it!

My teaching method is based on PPP, which is a deductive approach based on Presentation, Practice, Production. I present the target language and then give students the opportunity to practice it through designed activities. I make a point to include the 5 senses approach into the practice and production parts of the teaching (arts, conversation, music, writing practice, sports, food, etc).
