My teaching approach is structured, methodical, and focused on measurable improvement in academic writing. Each lesson follows a clear framework: understanding the assignment brief, planning a strong structure, developing arguments, and refining clarity and academic style. I customise this structure based on your specific needs, level, and assignment requirements.
A typical 60-minute lesson is broken down into:
10 minutes: understanding your task, challenges, and goals
20 minutes: explaining key concepts (structure, argument, methodology)
20 minutes: guided practice on your own work
10 minutes: detailed feedback and clear next steps
I guide students step by step through thesis development, paragraph structure (PEEL method), critical analysis, and use of evidence. I also support you in refining, rewriting, and proofreading your work in line with your assignment requirements, ensuring clarity, coherence, and academic quality while helping you improve independently.
