About Sarah
I am a passionate advocate of finding a way to make English literature and language accessible to every student I work with. I have been in leadership roles for the past four years, including literacy and SEND. I spent almost a decade working as a journalist and also have experience teaching politics at A-Level.

Hello! Thank you for taking time to read this advert. I am a secondary school English teacher in my seventh year as an educator. I have been fortunate enough to teach a breadth of classes, from Year 7 to Year 13, as well as assess GCSE papers for AQA and WJEC exam boards. English is a passion and was my reason for becoming a journalist prior to teaching. However, now, I am driven by enabling students to feel successful. As a qualified SENDCo, I spend my days finding ways to help students access learning in the way that best suits them and working collaboratively to enable young people to fulfil their potential.
