About John
Hello! I’m John. I’m an actor-musician and acting teacher with a love for storytelling, performance, and helping others grow in their craft. I trained in Acting, and I’ve worked across stage and screen for several years. My teaching experience includes working with both beginners and more experienced actors, focusing on everything from monologue coaching, audition prep to character development and voice work.

I’ve taught acting for over ten years, working with students ranging from complete beginners to experienced performers. My experience includes private coaching, drama school audition preparation, and leading workshops focused on monologues, scene study, and devising. My methodology is rooted in psychological realism and character-driven work - helping students connect deeply with text, find truth in performance, and make bold, personal choices. I also draw from physical theatre, voice work, and actor-musician techniques to develop a well-rounded and flexible toolkit for my students. I’ve worked with young people, adult learners, and professionals returning to the craft, helping each student grow in confidence, technique, and creative expression. Many of my students have successfully gained places at top drama schools or gone on to perform professionally.
