About Marina
I am an experienced language teacher (English and Afrikaans) and have taught on primary as well as secondary school level. I give private lessons too, and have managed to help students to significantly improve their results. I completed a BA Degree (Afrikaans Language major - cum laude), a Post-Graduate Degree in Education, as well as an Honours Degree in Psychology. This helps me to understand the way that people think, and to convey knowledge effectively.

My lessons regularly employ humour and irony, as well as memory-enhancing techniques. I believe that it is not just the ability of the student, but his/her input and the teacher's dedication, that determine the mastery of the language.
