About Liz
I am currently a working professional in the logistics industry. However, my educational background is in the sciences.
I have an undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics, as well as in Health Policy. I have a Post Graduate Diploma in Public health - focusing on Epidemiology and Infectious Disease, as well as a Post Graduate Certificate in Clinical Research.
I love to learn and love sharing my knowledge on wide variety of subjects with my students.
I am a strong believer that no two people learn the same way and each student should be approached with the same level of respect I expect to receive.
Outside my professional and academic life, I enjoy playing the guitar and piano, cooking, and trying my hand at any number of crafts. Reading and watching TV are also not out of the picture.

I generally like to get a bit of an understanding of where my students are academically, as well as what motivates them to learn. From there, we can work on setting achievable goals and building a learning plan together.
I am very patient and can usually find a way of making learning new things and difficult concepts fun, either by playing cards games or making up new games.
Many of my lessons are geared to grade school students but can also be tailored to high school students as well.
