About Jake
I'm a guitar teacher/educator based in SE London (Deptford). I have a 1st Class BMus degree from the Academy of Contemporary Music and over 10+ years playing professionally in bands.
Throughout this time I've had the pleasure of playing with a variety of different artists and have had opportunities to record in well known London studios such as Air and Metropolis.

Jake is a patient teacher who had a genuine interest in improving my guitar playing. He allowed me to choose songs I wanted to learn which encouraged me to keep practising. He made sure lessons were engaging even over zoom and I felt that he was genuinely interested in seeing me improve each week. He’s talented in a number of different styles so I was able to learn different techniques too. I’d highly recommend Jake as a guitar teacher and have really enjoyed our lessons.
