About Devetter
With extensive experience teaching middle-level mathematics, I have spent years guiding students in grades 6–8 toward strong mathematical understanding and confidence. Specializing in advanced coursework, I have taught Pre-Algebra to accelerated 7th graders and Algebra I to 8th graders, consistently preparing students for rigorous content and higher-level thinking.
As a gifted and talented–endorsed educator, I design instruction that challenges learners at all levels, fosters problem-solving, and cultivates a positive, engaging classroom environment. Under my instruction, 8th-grade students have repeatedly achieved high performance on state End-of-Course examinations, reflecting both instructional excellence and a commitment to student success.
Dedicated, reflective, and passionate about mathematics education, I continue to support learners in developing strong foundations that prepare them for future academic achievemen.

I taught secondary math for 25+ yrs. I am gifted & talented endorsed. I have taught from Pre-Algebra, 7th grade, Algebra 1, 8th & 9th grade, Geometry & Algebra II, high school, on a regular basis with an above average EOC passage rate, many years.
