I am a certified Reading/Literacy specialist with 17+ years of teaching experience in the classroom and virtual teaching. I have taught hundreds of students over the years and most have moved successfully to the college level and still in contact with me today.

My teaching method is unique because I also have a bachelor's degree in Psychology and pursuing my Masters in Psychology with an emphasis on child and adolescent behaviors. I have the ability to connect and motivate my students by modeling my love of reading and the English language. My passion for vocabulary has vastly impacted my students because the words are no longer intimidating and the passages, books, etc. are meaningful because the student can understand and comprehend.
