About Sarah
I like to get to know my students so that I can create lessons that they will love.
I’m motivated by seeing my students grow in confidence, knowledge and skills in a subject I love.
I like feedback from students and parents to ensure I deliver the best teaching and learning experiences.
My teaching focuses on the needs of the student: I’m experienced in teaching students who are ‘Most Able’, have a dyslexia diagnosis and ADHD diagnosis.

I tailor how and what I teach to each student's needs to ensure the achievement of every young person.
I love creating sound learning experiences that are fun, engaging and effective.
I have over 20 years of experience teaching and a superb record of excellent rates of progress and results at GCSE and A Level.
I have experience teaching Key Stages 3, 4, and 5 and from Year 6 to Year 13 in state and independent schools.
I was also Head of English in two schools (the GCSE pass rate increased from 52% to 92% under my leadership) and the National Head of English and Literacy for SSAT, training over 10,000 teachers.
Before having children, I was also the English and Literacy Consultant at Oxford University Press.
