About Katie
I am a trained English and Drama teacher who is employed at a school in North London teaching English. During my training I was graded as an an overall outstanding teacher. I have a background in the study of English literature, language, drama and creative writing having studied English BA at the University of Nottingham. I am therefore happy to teach in any of these areas.

I am a flexible and adaptable teacher who plans all my lessons specifically around a student's individual needs. I am approachable and patient and understand that every pupil will learn at different speeds, making sure to allow for this in my planning. I ensure all my lessons are accessible by using popular culture and open-ended questioning to encourage students to find their own opinions and thoughts on certain texts.
