About Heather
Hi! I’m Heather and I’m an English and Creative Writing university student with a love for stories, language, and helping people grow as writers. I’ve always enjoyed helping friends and younger students with their writing and reading, and I find it so rewarding to see someone gain confidence and enjoy learning. English is a subject I am incredibly passionate about and I love to see people expand or develop their interests in literature. I want to teach because I believe that learning English should be fun and inspiring, and not just about grades (though they are definitely important!). I love tailoring lessons to each student, helping you understand tricky concepts, improve your skills, and discover your own voice. I also believe that tutoring should be accessible to all students, making my prices fairer than most and ensuring all students feel confident during the stressful exam season! Outside of tutoring, I’m a big fan of books, music and theatre so you can expect lessons that are engaging, interactive, and fun!

I offer private English Literature/Language and Creative Writing lessons for GCSE and A-Level students. My lessons are interactive, engaging, and tailored to each student’s individual needs. Whether it’s improving essay structure, mastering tricky grammar, or developing your own creative voice, I’m here to help you feel confident and achieve your goals. I recognise that all pupils learn differently and have lesson structures that adapt to all learning types. I adapt my approach to suit every learner, making sessions enjoyable and effective.
