About Briley
I am an experienced educator with a bachelor's in English from Cameron University and an MFA in Creative Writing, Fiction from the University of South Carolina, Columbia, where I work as adjunct English faculty. I have dedicated myself to studying writing and reading and consider myself to be a lifelong learner.

My experience teaching freshman-level English at the University of South Carolina has provided me with valuable insight to help students facilitate and strengthen their reading comprehension, analysis, and composition skills through inquiry-based learning, preparing them for success in college and beyond. I am committed to helping students achieve their goals by creating an inclusive and encouraging learning environment that accommodates their specific needs. In addition to strengthening student literacy, my lessons foster inventive thinking and creativity by showing the ways writing can benefit the lives of students, no matter their specific passion.
