About Wood
I am a dedicated and passionate English and Literature tutor with a strong academic background and years of teaching experience. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Education (English Literature) at the Catholic University, I have helped many students improve their grades, deepen their understanding of literary texts, and build confidence in both spoken and written English. My method is rooted in patience, clarity, and making learning enjoyable. I am especially skilled in guiding students preparing for national exams like international curricula. I believe every student has potential and I’m here to help unlock it.

About Your Lessons
As an English and Literature tutor, my approach focuses on interactive, student-centered learning. I tailor each lesson to the learner’s needs—whether primary, secondary, or undergraduate—by combining close reading, critical thinking, and writing exercises. A typical session begins with a short review, followed by a guided reading or analysis of selected texts, and ends with discussion and writing tasks to reinforce learning. I use relatable examples, exam strategies, and literary theory to make complex ideas easier to grasp. What sets me apart is my ability to simplify abstract concepts and spark a genuine interest in literature. I especially support IGCSE and university-level students.
