About James
I am from Chicago where I studied at UIC and taught at charter schools for five years. I now live in New Orleans where I earned an MA from Tulane University. I love reading, art, the Saints and the Bears (unfortunately) and a good cup of coffee. I also love teaching and helping students at all levels grow as readers, writers, and global citizens.

My license is for middle and high school teaching, and when I earned my MA I was able to teach at the undergraduate college level. My lessons are broken into small, attainable components with lots of opportunity for practice and support.
