I have 11 years' experience of IELTS, EAP and ESL teaching (8 in China and 3 in Argentina) and am excited to continue teaching now I’m back in the UK.

I adhere to the CEFR guidelines emphasising practical competence in English. To this end, I encourage creative and critical thinking in the classroom and I like to create fun, ‘glass half full’ environments to facilitate this for the students. My lesson plans are carefully put together, drawing on a wealth of material built up over the years and also current reading and online resources.
