About Matthew

My name is Matthew, and I have over 10 years of experience preparing students for the IELTS exam. Throughout my career, I have worked with learners from many different countries and academic backgrounds, helping them build the language skills and exam strategies needed to reach their target scores. My approach focuses on clear explanations, structured practice, and personalized guidance. I aim to create lessons that help students strengthen their English, improve their confidence, and feel fully prepared for the IELTS examination.

About the lesson

My IELTS lessons are designed to help students clearly understand the exam structure and develop the strategies needed to achieve a high band score. Particular attention is given to the Speaking and Writing sections, where many candidates struggle, by focusing on effective techniques, structure, and examiner expectations.

During the course, students learn practical IELTS strategies, vocabulary, and grammar required for both Academic and General Training. Lessons include targeted practice with a wide variety of question types, allowing students to build familiarity with the exam format and improve their performance in all four skills: listening, reading, writing, and speaking.

Each task completed during the lessons receives detailed feedback, helping students identify their strengths and the areas that require improvement. The objective is to gradually strengthen language accuracy, develop clear ideas, and build strong confidence before the exam.

Students also receive additional learning resources, including vocabulary and grammar materials, practice exercises, and personalized guidance to reinforce their academic English. Dedicated speaking and writing practice with structured feedback ensures continuous progress and preparation at a high standard.

Overall, the lessons focus on clear methodology, regular practice, and constructive feedback, enabling students to improve their English skills and approach the IELTS exam with confidence and strong preparation.
