About June Ray
I am a licensed teacher in both Florida and New Mexico with experience teaching Science and Special Education. I currently teach students in Grades 3–5 and provide instruction across all core subjects. My goal is to create a welcoming and supportive learning environment where every student feels comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing academically.
I believe students learn best when lessons are personalized to their individual needs, learning styles, and strengths. I use clear explanations, visuals, hands-on activities, real-life examples, guided practice, and positive feedback to make challenging concepts easier to understand.
As a Special Education teacher, I have experience supporting students who may need additional academic, behavioral, or learning support. I am patient, encouraging, and committed to helping students build not only their academic skills but also their confidence and independence. Whether your child needs help catching up, strengthening foundational skills, preparing for classroom assignments, or simply gaining confidence in a subject, I am here to provide individualized support and make learning a positive experience.

As a licensed Florida and New Mexico teacher, I use a patient, supportive, and student-centered approach. I adjust my teaching methods to each student’s learning style, strengths, and needs. Lessons typically include a short review, direct instruction, guided practice, independent practice, and a quick check for understanding. I use visuals, real-life examples, hands-on activities, repetition, and positive feedback to make learning easier and more engaging. I teach Science and all core subjects for students in Grades 3–5, including students who need additional academic or Special Education support. What sets me apart is my classroom experience and ability to break challenging concepts into smaller, manageable steps while building confidence and independence.
