About Dylan

I am an experienced educator with over 10 years of teaching and coaching experience at both the middle and high school levels. My background includes reading and writing intervention, social studies, honors coursework, and AP-level instruction.

I am passionate about helping students build confidence, develop strong academic habits, and reach their goals. As both a teacher and basketball coach, I understand that success comes from combining encouragement, accountability, and individualized support. I strive to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, taking risks, and growing as learners.

Whether a student needs extra support, help staying organized, or a challenge beyond the classroom, I am committed to helping them succeed.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed to meet students where they are and help them build both skills and confidence. With experience teaching middle and high school students, reading and writing intervention, honors courses, and AP-level social studies, I understand how to support a wide range of learners.

A typical lesson includes reviewing current coursework, identifying areas of difficulty, direct instruction, guided practice, and strategies students can use independently. I specialize in reading comprehension, writing, study skills, organization, test preparation, and social studies content.

As a classroom teacher and coach, I believe in building strong relationships, maintaining high expectations, and helping students develop the confidence needed to succeed both academically and beyond the classroom.
