About Sadia

I am a qualified Primary School Teacher with eight years of experience, and helping children grow in confidence and ability has always been the most meaningful part of my work.

Throughout my teaching career, I have supported pupils across a wide range of abilities, from children with SEND and those who need help closing gaps in their learning, to pupils working at greater depth who benefit from additional challenge and opportunities to extend their thinking.

I want to teach through tutoring because it allows me to understand each child as an individual and provide the level of support or challenge that is right for them. In a busy classroom, some children may need more time to revisit key concepts, while others may need deeper questions and more complex tasks to keep them engaged and progressing.

My aim is not only to help pupils improve academically, but also to help them become confident, independent and enthusiastic learners. I tailor my sessions carefully using a range of resources and teaching strategies to ensure that every child feels supported, challenged and proud of the progress they make. This is my passion.

About the lesson

I offer personalised Reading, Writing and Maths tuition through both in-person and online sessions. I specialise in teaching pupils in Years 5 and 6, including SATs preparation, but I also provide tuition for children in lower primary year groups.

My lessons are carefully tailored to each child’s individual needs, ability, confidence and learning style. I adapt my teaching approach and use a wide range of resources, practical activities, games and strategies to make learning accessible and engaging.

My lessons are friendly, structured and encouraging. I aim to create a calm environment where children feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and developing greater confidence and independence.

I support pupils with:
• Primary English and Maths
• Year 5 and Year 6 curriculum support
• Year 6 SATs preparation
• Reading comprehension and fluency
• Writing, grammar, punctuation and spelling
• Arithmetic and mathematical reasoning
• Filling gaps in learning
• Homework and schoolwork
• SEND and individual learning needs
• Building confidence and independence

My goal is to help every child make meaningful progress, strengthen their understanding and feel proud of what they are able to achieve.
