About Maryela
Having experienced teaching with children 4-7 yrs over the last 17 years, I continue to learn and educate myself. I have a bachelor's degree in family studies concentration in young children and a master's degree from American University with early elementary education. I'm bilingual speaking and reading proficient in Spanish so can help your struggling reader if language is a barrier.

Through virtual lessons on your time, I can engage and prepare your child using what you have at home to help them advance in reading or catch up and learn the basics of phonological awareness and phonemic awareness. I taught virtually kindergarten and by using visuals and videos to help attain little one's attention, your little one will be reading and spelling at kindergarten-2nd grade level.
