About Yaishnaavi Shwetaa
Hello students, my name is Shwetaa, I'm 24 years old I'm from a small town in Selangor called Kajang. I am currently pursuing my Bachelor in Psychology which means yes I can read your mind. Hold up that's a joke and a myth, I can't read your mind but I can understand your body language and behaviour which can also sometimes lead me to predict your next behaviour hence where that myth is from.
Something to know about me is that I enjoy connecting with people and learning about different cultures. When I was teaching at a school, I had students from various backgrounds and it was so fun to listen to their stories every day. With an interest in Korean culture, I started learning the language in university and now can have basic conversations in Korean. However, I am still very much in the learning stage and can understand what it's like to learn a new language. Hence, I always tailor my learning materials to fit my style and we can also practice this in our sessions where you can tell me what you prefer.

I have been a teacher at a private school for almost two years, teaching students aged 6 to 12 (Grade 1 to 6) multiple subjects including English, Science and Mathematics. My classes are usually 45 minutes to an hour depending on the depth of the syllabus. For subjects like science, I would carry out a fun hands-on experiment with everyday household items. Before the start of every math lesson, I would provide them with a tricky mathematical riddle or problem to solve. Most of the time, my classroom lessons will mimic everyday situations regardless of the subject.
