About Ben
I am an experienced teacher of English in all its forms. I spent close to three years overseas in Russia and Japan teaching EAL before returning to London to train as a teacher of secondary English. Since then, I have spent almost five years working with a broad range of students of various abilities and ages, from Y7 to Y13.
As a teacher, I am a warm and supportive individual, but I also maintain high expectations of all of my students. I pride myself on delivering even the most difficult content in a clear and accessible manner. My lessons are educational journeys through which my students are able to build on their prior knowledge and understanding in pursuit of new learning objectives.
