About Benjamin
Hello,
My name is Ben, and I am a fully qualified teacher of English, based in Scotland. I have been teaching at High School/College level for fifteen years, and have enjoyed a great working relationship with young people of all levels, from foundation through to Advanced Higher (equivalent of A-Level in England).
I like to take an informal but committed approach to learning, and prefer an interpersonal approach with strong communication between teacher and pupil. I am dyslexic, and have found that this has given me a particular interest in working with people for whom literacy doesn't always come easily - I am living proof that learning difficulties need not be obstacles that cannot be overcome!
I am available to work in multiple timezones and throughout the year.
