About Eliysheva
I have been teaching for 18 years. I have worked in Chicago, Illinois, USA teaching children all subjects. I have taught kindergarten through 8th grade. I tutored high school students for Americorps in small groups. I have taught multicultural and inner city children in large classrooms. Children always tell me I'm a fun, loving, caring, and firm teacher. I love field trips because real life learning is always the best. Plus I learn with the children too. I have been homeschooling for 4 years one-on-one with my 9 and 5 year old children.

I listen to students interests and based my lessons around them. I connect the content of what they are learning to something they like. This makes it meaningful and fun. For example, I usually connect reading to science and math. If a student like making things out or clay, then I could teach them about molecules and the periodic table by making clay models. Students could even use marshmallows and eat the atoms or molecules when they are finish. Fun lessons connect to you more and every lesson should be meaningful.
