About Annisa
I want to approach my student as a friend instead of teacher, build a connection with them. The reason why I want to teach is because I'm really interested in this field, and I want more experiences for larger opportunities ahead. Also, I need money as a university student.

My tutoring approach is friendly, patient, and highly personalized, mainly with children. I worked one year within a children's play area. This taught me how to communicate with children, understand their emotions, and make children feel safe and excited about learning. I can use my background in this area to encourage my 7-year-old students toward taking risks, failing forward, and growing. I assist the school's English Club as I mentor lower grade juniors so they improve their English. I liked teaching my juniors at the English Club about spelling and how to break down longer words. This is how I learned that each child is different under the reality that some kids respond to creative approaches, some respond to order, some respond to gaming and rote. Due to this, my tutoring style is based on: Writing: encouraging students to express themselves within simple frameworks by using fun writing prompts. Spelling: teaching techniques, phonics, and using memory tricks where applicable for making spelling less intimidating. English: building strong foundations through conversation, reading, and interactive exercises adjusted for their level of understanding. This means for 7-year-old learners, activities use play, encouragement, and age-appropriateness. This keeps them motivated. They enjoy the learning process. Overall, I hope to learn English and experience fun plus encourage confidence, creativity, and curiosity.

I specialize in teaching young learners with a patient, creative, and supportive approach. I have one year of experience working with children, which taught me how to handle emotions, build trust, and create a safe and enjoyable learning atmosphere. I also have experience from my school’s English Club, where I helped my juniors with spelling, reading, and basic writing. My lessons are engaging, gentle, and adapted to each child’s learning style, whether they learn through play, repetition, or storytelling.
