About Nhi
Hi, I’m Julie (Nhi) Pham, an English tutor with a passion for language teaching and learning. I’m currently pursuing a degree in Applied Linguistics at Flinders University, where I’ve maintained a 4.0 GPA, and I hold an IELTS score of 8.0. I want to teach because I know how challenging learning a new language can be—I’ve been through that journey myself. My goal is to help students feel more confident using English in real-life situations, whether for exams, academic purposes, or everyday communication. I take a learner-centered, interactive approach, meaning I tailor lessons to each student’s needs and make learning as engaging and practical as possible. More than just teaching English, I want to create a supportive learning space where students feel encouraged to make mistakes, ask questions, and grow at their own pace. I have an IELTS score of 8.0 and am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Languages, majoring in Applied Linguistics at Flinders University, with a perfect GPA of 4.0/4.0. My experience includes tutoring high school students preparing for IELTS and teaching English to diverse learners, including adult migrants and young students.
