About Tom

I began playing guitar at the age of 14 and have over 50 years of experience. I have played and studied Blues, Bluegrass, Latin, Rock, Jazz and all types of acompaniement. I work with beginners, intermediate players and guitarists seeking to learn improvisation and or song writing.

I teach a basic understanding of the structure of music as it relates to the guitar. Lessons are customized to meet the needs and the musical level of the individual.

I look forward to work wirh you whether you just want to accompany your self singing your favorite songs or you want to become a accomplished guitar picker.

I have a BA in Psychology.

I recently retired from the Oregon Symphony's Marketing Dept. as Group Sales Manager.  I have a lifelong passion for all types of music.

I have many years experience in sales training and management which has involved extensive public speaking.

I love working with people and helping them achieve their goals.
