About Libby
My name is Libby and I am a Deaf studies student hoping to transfer to Gallaudet University to study secondary education. With my degree, I will work as a teacher for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Students.
My passion for ASL began when I had a college counselor recommend I take to meet my language requirement. I fell in love with the language and found a job working at a school alongside Deaf children. With my students, we worked on reading and writing, math, science, and many other concepts all well communicating in sign language. Eventually, my school load got in the way, but to continue doing something I was passionate about I decided to start tutoring ASL.
