About Shengyang
As a high school graduates, I am able to help students from K-12 on their after school assignments at a relatively low price.
Regarding my previous experience, I have been a volunteer tutor at the King County Library System for two years.
My teaching subjects include: Math(up to Calculus BC), Physics (AP 1, 2 & C), Chinese (All level), CTE related courses (such as AP Computer Science).
Languages I can Speak: Mandarin Chinese (Native), English (Fluent)
My favorite part of being a student tutor is that I love to see the smiling face on each of my students when I am able to help them. In addition, I enjoy instilling the knowledge I know to those who are either struggling or are seeking for additional supports.
I became a tutor because I would love to teach student the subjects that I am good at and instill my knowledge to those who are struggling. As a high school graduate myself, I truely understand the feeling of being left behind acedemically and I am always ready to help those in need.
I have been a tutor at my community library(King County Library System) for two years and I have been receiving training from the library.

First, I would like to have a conversation with my student on our lesson plan, including tutoring subjects, time length, and price.
Next, I want to meet with my student at a timely basis (for example, once a week) and each time I will assign some practice to the student.
I have been mostly worked with students from K-12, but adults occasionally.

No, I do not have a standard pricing system. I would like to have a conversation with my students first about our lesson plan and set up the price.
Currently, I would expect maybe $15 to $25 per hour.
