About Bill

I think that it would have to be the deep knowledge that I have in my area of expertise, front end web development. I've been a front end developer professionally for over a year at this point, and during my time in industry, I've learned more than I could've imagined. I want to share this knowledge, and help anyone who is interested learn more about web development.

I enjoy helping people achieve their learning goals, whether they're for school, work, or plain ole' curiosity. It's one thing for myself to succeed, but it's quite another to watch someone that you've helped succeed. I really enjoy that, and hope that I do that for any aspiring front-end developers.

I first starting teaching during the summer in between high school and college. I was teaching game development and programming at a tech camp. I worked at that camp for three summers, and once I made the move over to the industry, I've continued teaching by tutoring and participating in mentorship with new engineers.

I have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, College Park. I've also worked as a software engineer in industry for over a year, shipping code and building features for multiple web applications.
