About Jessi

At Gotta Dance Studio Academy of Performing Arts, the minute you step foot in a class, you become a part of our extended family. The instructors and staff at Gotta Dance Studio wish to give you a warm, welcoming experience week after week, which has brought so many families back, year after year.

Through the variety of styles offered, men and women, boys & girls of all ages can enjoy the fun and excitement of the Dance World. Not only do we focus on strengthening and technique, but our highly trained and caring teachers make every student’s experience at Gotta Dance Studio Academy of Performing Arts a positive experience of personal and artistic growth.

When owner Cindy Gebelein first opened Gotta Dance Studio in 1995, her values and goals were to not only create strong technical dancers, but teach her students how to shine in personality and light up the stage. All the teachers contribute to an annual showcase that proves to the families and friends in the audience just that.

As one of the largest performing arts facilities in the San Fernando Valley, you and your family will have plenty of opportunity to find something you love.

Through our dance program, Gotta Dance Studio teaches dance, while building self-confidence and poise. Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Pointe, Hip-Hop, Musical Theatre, Contemporary, Tumbling, and more, are included in the curriculum.

Dance Spirit Competition Team travels throughout the Southern California Region to compete with studios from around the country. This givesthese highly dedicated students a team-building and competetive experience. Dancers can be on this team by audition only and usually have multiple years of dance experience. Visit the Dance Spirit page for more information.

In the past few years, Gotta Dance Studio has expanded their Adult Dance and Fitness classes! Whether you are trained in dance or starting classes for the first time, there is a Ballet, Tap, Hip Hop, or Jazz class suitable for your level. Keep your eyes open for new classes opening up in the near future such as Mommy & Me, Cardio Ballet and more!
