About Abigail
Good day! My name is Abigail I hope you all are staying safe amist the pandemic. I am a University Student enrolled at the Georgia State University majoring in Political Science. Apart from my love for politics , English language classes made my high school expierence more amazing than it could be. However, I am aware that it may be hard for many students when learning English, in order to make my classes fun and interactive; my objective is to teach students as if they were having a conversation with say the Queen of England, one of which was more informal, so they would be able to voice their opinions and concerns. We would tackle the most difficult areas in the English Language , by breaking down each area as if aforementioned it were to be a conversation between two individuals hence the name for my classes are entitled "Dear English".
I love hearing the success stories of my students! It brings me an immense amount of joy knowing I helped a young lady or young man be the better version of themselves and be proud of their accomplishments, when they thought they would not be able to.
I have be tutoring students for a coule years, I started in highschool, I would just help friends out; then I realized how big of an impact I was having on the lives of individuals I taught so I decided to turn it into a busniess, outiside of that I have no formal training per say, I have however managed to mantain straight A's and write excellent academic papers throughout Highschool and University.

Before I begin to teach my students, I ensure they are comfortable! I build a relationship with them as statistics have shown that the more comfortable an environment of learning is the greater the results. We then explore the areas within the subject that they struggle with the most, and also the areas they are strongest in ; in order to know where to begin , what areas to place more emphasis on and areas which do not require as much attention.
I have worked with mostly highschool Juniors and Seniors and University Freshman students.
Get to know your studnets before anything else, also study how they write any from paragraphs to essays it says a whole lot about them and their weak areas.

The I appreciated the most about her was even after I graduated she continued to make her self available so I could receive help during my freshman year in uni with assignment.
She was so patient with me. She made learning English fun and because of this I was so excited to learn from her everyday. I would definitely recommend her to anyone that wants to learn English or better their English because she’s amazing.
