About Benjamin

My service stands out because I do not just focus on teaching the information but I also try to help students build self confidence through their learning and achievement.

I enjoy seeing students learn and achieve. I love seeing students grow and become more self confident in their academic performance.

I started teaching a few years ago; both my parents are educators and I always enjoyed helping students learn.

I have a preliminary teaching credential for Social studies. I was a high school social studies teacher for a year. I have a degree in History from UCLA. I also have a Masters in Social Studies teaching from USC.

About the lesson

I generally start by asking students what they want to achieve/their goals and then make a plan for achieving those goals. I try to get to know the student on a basic level so I can tailor my tutoring for them.

I am a new tutor but as a teacher I dealt with students at all levels, academically.
