About Imaal
I love writing and would love to teach others! I have own multiple awards for my pieces, and one of my poems even got recognized by Former President Barack Obama. I have been working with kids for over two years now, teaching them all sorts of skills. I specialize in comprehension skills, creative writing, and poetry, but I can help with all sorts of things!
I love watching kids finally understand what they did wrong. It warms my heart knowing that I could help someone figure out their mistakes and help prevent them in the future.

About the lesson

I would have them write a piece for me, with or without a prompt. After, I would evaluate their skills and talk to them about it. We would go over their weak points and walk through the process of correcting it. We would also review their strong points, and shoot to make them stronger! At the end, I would have them write another piece so we can see their process and growth throughout my lessons.
All types! I have worked with students with disabilities and students who hate to write too! After my classes, they all start to lean more to writing and it comes naturally to them.
