About Araminta
I don't have a "one size fits all" approach. I gear my teaching style and the materials used to meet the individual needs of each student.
I have been an educator for 25 years and I still love seeing that moment when a student understands the topic he or she has been struggling with!
My qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Music, a Music Therapy degree equivalency, and a Master of Education.
I believe that all children are gifted--they just need to find the best way to express themselves.
I come from a long line of teachers, so I think I have always had a love for learning. However, I didn't always love my school experiences though, so I think teaching came about because I wanted to change the way people teach and learn. I don't teach one way--I figure out the best way for the student to learn effectively, and we go from there. What works for one student doesn't always work for another.
