About Kalli
I am a current college student, with a 3.9 GPA, so I can be of great help for students preparing for college. I typically try to keep my tutoring students younger, because I can be of more use when approaching their material. I have patience and compassion for younger students, and I strongly believe that it is through care and consideration where a learning and growing student can thrive.
My strengths include communication, English, Writing, and Music. I've played the bassoon for over 7 years, so I can help with musical advice, and can provide some improvement. I also studying acting and Theatre, so I can provide feedback for acting monologues, or if someone is preparing for an audition.
I love teaching. It creates the space for people to connect and grow together. I gain so much from my students, and likewise I hope my students gain a lot from me. It is a growing process, and every student is different, so for me it provides a wonderful opportunity to learn everyone's strengths and explore different modes of teaching.

For starters, I try to find out where their weaknesses are and their strengths. I want to know what type of learner they are and what exactly they hope to gain from me, and then from their I will organize a way to create the learning process to be easiest for them. We all learn differently, so it is important to know first what is easier for the student, before jumping in.

Details
My standard pricing is
20$ an hour for basic subjects, this includes English/ Reading, Writing Essays, and Math.
It is 25$ an hour in fields of Music and Theatre. In terms of those classes, I can teach basic acting skills, such as techniques, ways to approach, and where to start, and for Music I can help with auditions, tips for practicing, approaches to material, and I can help students who need advice on what to do with solo pieces. I am classically trained with Bassoon, and I attend Georgia State University studying Theatre and Acting
