About Kristina

I am a lifelong learner and have a passion for helping others fall in love with the pursuit of knowledge, regardless of their age.

My educational background is in Psychology, English Literature and Linguistics

I am currently a certified Montessori preschool and Kindergarten teacher with 6 years experience.

I have always been a teacher! But on a more professional level I became an intern at a school in WA while I was taking Montessori training in 2014.

My background in Psychology, Literature and Linguistics as well as Montessori teaching certifications aid my process with all kinds of learners.

About the lesson

I like to find out about my students' interests, hobbies, learning style and areas where support is needed.

I have mostly worked with children ages 1.5 - 6 years old, but I also assisted many fellow students in college with their writing projects.

It's ok to ask for help! Be open to suggestions and try not to take constructive criticism personally. Find a tutor who is patient, kind and respectful.

I am currently homeschooling my 2 children (ages 3 and 7) due to the coronavirus....and it's going well!
