About Haley
I am a private tutor finishing out my Bachelors degree at Emory University in Atlanta, Ga. I already hold an Associates of the Arts from Oxford of Emory University, and I look forward to using my skills as a psychology and theatre studies major/minor to help increase individuals critical reading and writing skills, improve speech used in writing and oral presentations, and promote a passion for learning.

I begin by getting to know my student as an individual. I like to detemrine what motivates them to learn, what may negatively reinforce their learning behaviors, and how to navigate sensitive topics if they have had unpleasant experiences in certain subjects. You can not productively teach someone who has shutdown before they have even begun.
