About Jade

I am exceptional at customizing my services to each individual student's learning style, needs, and goals. I am strategic in breaking down where we currently are in skill level, where we need to get to, and how we're going to achieve that.

I love the "ah-hah!" moment that happens when something finally clicks for students. It is very rewarding to help students see themselves as scholars, scientists, artists, mathematicians, and other forms of academics and professionals in their two-way engagement with learning.

I have been working in youth oriented settings formally since 2016, and started my masters in 2021.

I am in graduate school through Kansas State University online to become a k-6 educator. I am also a singer and published writer.

About the lesson

We assess where the student's current skill level is, then identify the goal. Then, together we decide how to best achieve that goal. We then set up a process week-by-week to help get there.

Mostly elementary students for core academic subjects, but my writing and musical tutoring has been for high schoolers.
