About Rosalyn

We improve the comprehension and practical skills of our students. They gain confidence, independence and increase their standardized test scores. We also assist students applying to college and assist with obtaining scholarships.

We are professional educators with teaching certifications; experience teaching in elementary, high school and college. Our staff is passionate about helping to make sure college bound students that are average learners get accepted to college with scholarships.

We enjoy meeting our student’s goals and objectives.

I changed careers and obtained my license in 2005. I feel that my previous career in corporate helps me be a more well rounded educator.

We are all college educated with bachelors and graduate degrees. I am a licensed teacher in Illinois and have taught in Indiana.

About the lesson

I first listen to determine what their expectations are, assess them then set goals.

I’ve worked with under performing students in reading and writing in elementary and junior college.

My advice is to find someone who is interested in your needs and like what they do. It’s more than collecting the hourly rate.

I volunteer in my community at the library and my town doing community engagement activities, clean up days and I volunteer at my twins school working on the reception desk, helping teachers set up their rooms and other recruitment activities.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students should think about what they want to improve. Sometimes or most times the student may think they need help with math, but the problem may be understanding how to interpret what the question is asking them to do. That leads to reading comprehension.
