About Amanda
My service stands out because I priotitize teaching strong organizational skills, time management, and making academic succes a habit in addition to content. This goal oriented mentality teaches my students how to be proactive about schoolwork which maximizes the benefits from tutoring. I use the subject matter as a means to teach students how to learn, giving them skills that apply to all acedmic areas.
I enjoy seeing my students improve and become successful in areas they previouseley struggled with. Overcoming academic challenges helps students grow both academically and personally. I enjoy the moment a student realizes that the work paid off, this can be with a test grade, project, or simply a better understanding of the topic.
