About Roi
I have been teaching college writing classes for over 7 years at 2-year and 4-year colleges and universities. I understand that some students write because they have to, not because they want to, and I view myself as someone who can explain why writing can be a valuable tool. I can help students write clearly, explain grammatical errors, and can assist students with explaining how to complete their assignments. The bulk of my experience is with college undergraduate students.
I have my bachelor's and master's degree in Engish and a PhD in education. I have had an article about co-teaching a diversity course published in a book, I have one article about financial literacy in a community college under review and I just published my dissertation about the impact of food insecurity on the first-generation female student population.
