About Oscar J
I'm determined to help students who struggle with their writing. A cooperative student tutor relationship bears the best results and since 2017 I've yielded outstanding results in my community. Several students have gone from failing to above average and from B's to A's.
I am bilingual, (English & Spanish) currently a Youth Pastor in Brooklyn, attended CUNY Baruch, and have been tutoring successfully since I attended High School at Brooklyn Tech.

Each student is unique and requires an individualized learning plan. We first establish a bond with our client by making them feel secure and free from judgement. Afterwards, we investigate their learning strengths and weaknesses. For example, some students may fare well with little guidance and would rather be nudged only when needed whereas others may need verbal input throughout the learning process.
